About Glory

Glory's story
June 20th, I presume we got a call from our friends. We had been praying for a horse since we moved on property and had the money to own one. Her name was Glory, a black Rocky Mountain mare. My mom got off the phone and looked at me and smiled she told me about the horse. I screamed and jumped up and down and started to study. I watched videos and read about them and fell in love with the breed.

Then the day came for us to go check her out. I walked into the barn and their stood my beauty
I was in complete awe. I walked all around her feeling everywhere making sure she would didnt have any injuries. He explained to us even though she was 13, she has arthritis. He also explained lots of excersise she would do great. She was a big show horse until his daughter went to college then leaving glory without her. He said he couldn't in his right mind sell her, and he would be willing to GIVE her. I looked at my dad and mouthed the words "I love her". They gave me a leg up long story short that went fantastic.

July 1, 2013 was the day for Glory to arrive. Now in the year 2014 I would say we already have an untreatable bond.  I started liberty around October, and it changed out whole entire bond. Friends and family members can see the love she has for me, and that she would do anything if I asked. She recently began to like riding because of no pain, not bits. She would always fling her head up while putting on the bridle, now she calmly lets me slide her Hackamore on. She actually enjoys. Riding. Before it took ALL my strength to get this horse to stop, now all i have to do is lean back. I tried to make this as short as possible. Our story is much more , but it would take way to long to read and type. I love my horse, and with all certainty I can say she loves me back.
